Student Hub Rack Card
The requirements for this project included photographing the student lounge and using those photos to create an appealing, two-sided rack card using the colors and student hub information from the college website.
I drew inspiration from the circle element of the the Student Hub logo and repeated the circle in varying sizes, as well as colors, throughout the rack card. I choose a bold serif font for the headline, paired with a thin sans-serif for the sub-headline, and used a variety of weights, as well as italics, for the information text throughout the rack card.
Once the rack card was designed, the final step of the project included converting it to printer's layout, printing on the digital press, and trimming to size.

Magazine Cover
This project included the use of original photography taken on campus to create a magazine cover in Adobe Photoshop. In addition to photography and photo editing, the skills used in this project included using typography and Photoshop layer styles to create a strong masthead for the magazine title, as well as the story titles.
This project was created in the summer semester of 2020 during the pandemic. I used a self-portrait of myself to depict a student studying outside to fit with the summer season, as well as the ongoing pandemic.

Hatcher Garden
Trifold Brochure & Volunteer Flyer
For the summer internship class I created several projects for a local non-profit organization. Many of the projects included original photography I took over several trips to Hatcher Garden.
This trifold brochure was designed to provide general information about Hatcher Garden. I chose colors found throughout the garden and associated with nature.
Design tools used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, DSLR Camera
Another project created for the internship class was a single page flyer highlighting volunteer work at Hatcher Garden. To keep the branding cohesive I used the same colors, fonts, and elements as the trifold brochure.
